This is a quick spiel about Creative Bats.
It is set up as a freelance design studio and has been in operation for six years. It is structured to either grow if required to service the operational needs of small to medium businesses or to operate as myself and work independantly for contract design.

Operating as Creative Bats I’ve had the luxury of creating for some unique  brands at both ends of the spectrum. I’ve lead design and creative development for start-ups such as The Future Factory, TipiTipi, Kaddi PM among others and buisness development for mid tier operators such as Perrett Webb, Advertising Associates (Kia & Mercury Marine) and the ASX-listed Novatti. At the deeper end of the pool, I have worked through long contractual agreements for some of Australia’s most established enterprises including The Workwear Group (Hard Yakka and KingGee), H&H Global (Swisse, Solid Gold, Zesty Paws) and most recently The Brand Collective focusing on Reebok, Review, Replay, SuperDry, Everlast and Black Pepper to name a few.

As a contract designer, the main responsibility for larger scale clients is to quickly adopt and adapt to their team’s marketing methods at a high pace to keep project flow on schedule. I have a unique ability to absorb a brand’s guidelines and identity in order to turn around larger projects in a timely manner and on budget. The scope of work for larger clients leans in the digital sphere creating assets for digital marketing to convey their message online, including but not limited to EDMs, web banner and tile updates and assets for all social media platforms. Accompanying an online campaign are usually high volumes of print media, including catalogue and brochure design and point of sale ranging from instore to outdoor media, which may comprise of anything from an A5_strut card to a roadside billboard.

Independantly I offer the full scope of design, with a passion for creating brand identities by looking for a gap in the market and working to a business’ strengths, speaking their language and creating a platform for them to launch into market. This includes brand design or rebranding, brand inception (naming) if required, logo mark design, brand style guides and toolkits.

I offer web development as a service, with strength in the layout design, UX & UI but will engage a team to implement the development. Other creative services I offer are photography and video development usually for social assets limiting outputs to under five minutes.
